After failing numerous times, I finally found the perfect recipe for buttercream frosting that works for me. With this recipe, you can add food coloring gel to make any color you desire.
In addition, you can add dry ingredients such as coffee, matcha, taro and more if you watch to get fancy.



I love putting Buttercream Frosting on desserts that are sweet, savory and tangy! As you see above, I added a drizzle of the frosting on Orange Cranberry Biscuit I got in my Wildgrain Box.

Ingredients
115 g (8tbsp) | butter |
180 g (3/4 cup) | confectioner’s sugar |
1 tbsp | cream |
½ tsp | vanilla extract |
1 pinch | salt |
Directions
- Cream room temperature butter with a hand mixer or stand mixer with the paddle attachment or wooden spoon until smooth and creamy.
- Add sifted confectioners sugar, salt, and beat on low until incorporated. Then turn the speed to high. Add vanilla and cream or milk. Continue beating until fluffy.
