Quick and Easy Buttercream Frosting

After failing numerous times, I finally found the perfect recipe for buttercream frosting that works for me. With this recipe, you can add food coloring gel to make any color you desire.

In addition, you can add dry ingredients such as coffee, matcha, taro and more if you watch to get fancy.

Yield:2 1/2 cups

Ingredients

115 g (8tbsp)butter
180 g (3/4 cup)confectioner’s sugar
1 tbsp cream
½ tsp vanilla extract
1 pinch salt
Note: You can add any type of milk in substitution for cream

Directions

  1. Cream room temperature butter with a hand mixer or stand mixer with the paddle attachment or wooden spoon  until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add sifted confectioners sugar, salt, and beat on low until incorporated. Then turn the speed to high. Add vanilla and cream or milk. Continue beating until fluffy.
