If you are just now finding out about the Strawberry Glazed Doughnuts from Krispy Kreme Doughnut, sadly they don’t have them any more. The collaboration started early April 26th and ended shortly after. Luckily for me, I was able to try both Strawberry donuts that Krispy Kreme offered.

But don’t worry, I’m sure they will bring this flavor back. They did it once before and I’m sure they will do it again. Fan favorite for sure.

By the way, is it Doughnut or Donut? I really never understood why there are different spellings. [Laughing inside]

What were the options?

The first option, called the Strawberry Glazed Donut, replaced the original glaze with the fresh strawberry flavor.

The second option, called the Strawberry Kreme Filled Donut, featured the strawberry glaze on the outside and Strawberry Kreme filling on the inside.

What are my thoughts about presentation?

Over the presentation for both donuts was really good. I been to locations where the staff don’t even attempt to make the donuts presentable.

I do have one recommend and that is I wish the Strawberry Filled donut had a bite more filling. As you see in the picture above, it needed more love.

What was the cost?

The filled one was $1.99 and the regular one was $1.89. By the way, if you sign up for Krispy Kreme Rewards Program, you get a FREE donut for signing up. There is no cost to sign up!

What are my thoughts on taste?

They were both uber satisfying to eat. I enjoyed them both. They taste like strawberry and very sweet; just how I like my donuts. I can’t wait for them to bring this flavor back!
