Peppermint (Candy Cane) White Russian Cocktail

There are 13 days left for Christmas and I don’t know about you, but it time to drink responsibly. One of my favorite drinks, I made so far has been the White Russian. It has the perfect balance of coffee liqueur, vodka, peppermint, coconut milk and more.

You can enjoy this drink a couple of ways; Keto, Vegan or Non Vegan. All recipes are below. My favorite is Keto because it guilt free, has less carbs, sugar and calories.

Can I use another type of milk other than coconut milk?

Same as Keto, minus 13 and 14. However, you can buy it sweetened or unsweetened milk.

Let’s get started….

• Prep Time: 5 minutes

• Cook Time: 5 minutes

Yields: 2 Cocktails


Vegan/ Non Vegan

• 8 oz full fat canned coconut milk** (vegan) or heavy cream or half and half (non vegan)

• 2 oz vodka

• 1/3 Oz Peppermint Extract (2 Teaspoons)

• 2 oz Bailey’s Irish Cream

• 2 tsp agave

• Crushed candy canes

Garnish: Mint leaf + Candy Cane


• 3 ounces vodka

• 2 tablespoon water

• 1/3 Oz Peppermint Extract (2 Teaspoons)

• 2 tablespoon cold brew unsweetened

• 2 teaspoon Monk Fruit sweetener

• 6 ounces heavy cream or canned coconut milk**

Note: ** Shake Canned Coconut Milk vigorously (or blend) to combine the liquid & cream before adding to this recipe.

Garnish: Mint leaf


Vegan/ Non Vegan

1. Rim the edge of a glass with agave or simple syrup, then dip in crushed candy canes.

2. Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice. Add coconut milk, vodka, peppermint schnapps, Kahlúa and agave. Shake vigorously for 10 seconds, then pour into a chilled glass. 

3. Garnish with a candy cane or fresh mint.


1. Rim the edge of a glass with agave or simple syrup, then dip in crushed candy canes.

2. Add vodka, cold brew, Peppermint Extract, water, and erythritol to a rocks glass, and stir until erythritol dissolves.

4. Add ice, and pour heavy cream over the top. Taste and adjust the sweetness of the cocktail to your liking.
