When I tried this dish for the first time at Star Wars, I was actually impressed. I was so excited to go home and re-create this recipe to my liking. The original version wasn’t as spicy as I would loved, so I added more spiciness.
When it comes to the noodles, at Disney used a fatter noddle called Pappardelle. I decided to go with a thinner noodle called, Fettuccine so I can get more pasta in my belly. You can use either or.
The fresh pasta I used is from WildGrain. You get $30 off you first box.
With the chili oil, at Disney they drenched the noodles in the chili sauce. However, with this recipe, you can enjoy the sauce with the noodles are on the side. I recommend having it on the side, so you can control the level of sauce and spiciness.

Let’s get started….

Spiced Chili Oil
** I recommend buying your own favorite brand of spicy Chili Oil or spicy Chili Crunch Oil. Making it from scratch is time consuming.
Directions
Pasta
1. Cook pasta according to the instructions on the package/box. Set aside.
2. Rinse under cold water and drain very well.
3. In a large bowl, add pasta and add as much of the chili oil sauce according to your liking and spice level. Set aside.
Note, you can have this pasta with the sauce on the side.
Ground Beef or Pork
1. In a large skillet or frying pan, add olive oil and bring to medium heat. Once the olive oil is shimmering, add ground beef and brown 2-3 minutes. Drain off any fat. Note: Smash the ground beef into small pieces as you are cooking it. The smaller pieces soak up more of the flavor. Use can use a rubber spatula.
2. Add the garlic powder and onion powder and mix together for a minute or two.
3. Stir in the paprika, ginger, and chili flakes.
4. Add all veggies to the pan and mix to combine.
5. Simmer for 5-6 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.
